So today I got to hold little Michaela for the first time. Wow is she tiny. I didn’t get to hold her long, she was starting to get a little cold. The docs say she may be showing signs of an infection, so they started her on some antibiotics. They assure me that this is common and not to worry…right. They will get back to us on the culture to let us know for sure what it is.

I was born Wednesday April 30th. My parents wanted us to be born in May so they wouldn’t have to buy us Diamonds. Ha…ha…Aspen and I like diamonds, alot! Sorry dad. That was a crazy day. I wasn’t feeling so hot Tuesday night so mommy and the nurses tried everything to make me feel like staying inside mom’s tummy, but I was ready to see the world, well the inside of the NICU I guess. They say I was inside my mom for only 29 weeks so I have some growing to do. My dad says that I am tiny but tuff!
